Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
